Scott Perkins is an incoming ophthalmology resident at Harvard Medical School/Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. He is also a data scientist, machine learning engineer, and software developer. Scott has developed innovative software tools for ophthalmic image analysis, natural language processing, and clinical risk prediction that have enhanced clinical trials, healthcare delivery, and educational initiatives. While a medical student, he co-founded Future Leaders in Sight, a national organization of over 600 members that engages medical students in leadership and advocacy. He is a graduate of the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine.
